Rider Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By registering as a Rider (Individual or Company), you agree to these Terms and all applicable Nigerian laws.

2. Eligibility & Registration

You must be 18+ and legally permitted to provide delivery services in Nigeria.

Individual Riders must complete KYC and upload the required identity documents (e.g., National ID, Driver's Licence, or Passport).

Company Riders register as a company (Company Name + Registration Number) and are not required to submit individual KYC, but must ensure their personnel are properly licensed and vetted.

We may re-verify KYC at any time. KYC documents are retained for 5 years after account closure.

3. Rider Account

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You must not share your account or let unauthorised persons perform deliveries under your profile.

"Stay signed in" tokens must not be used on shared devices.

4. Order Acceptance & Status Flow

When you accept a ride, you must progress the order through these stages truthfully and promptly: Rider Assigned → Rider En Route (to store) → Item Picked Up → Out for Delivery → Delivered.

You must not mark Picked Up before physically collecting the item.

You must not mark Delivered before the customer has received it.

Delivery proof (photo) may be required.

5. Live GPS Tracking — Consent

By going online or accepting a ride, you consent to the Platform collecting and storing your live GPS location for the duration of the delivery.

Your location is visible to the customer and Admin during the active order, and your last known position is stored in our database.

Location updates are stored continuously (no movement threshold).

Turning off location services may prevent you from receiving or completing orders.

6. Delivery Conduct

Handle all items with care; do not open, tamper with, or consume items.

Be professional and courteous with Vendors and Customers.

Do not deliver prohibited, illegal, or unsafe items.

Follow all traffic laws. You are responsible for your own safety, vehicle, insurance, and any traffic violations.

7. Earnings & Payouts

You earn a delivery fee per completed order, plus any tips or bonuses.

The Platform's delivery rate is set by the Admin and may be overridden per Rider.

You must register a payout account (name, number, bank). Payouts are made only to that account, within 24 hours after delivery.

Earnings may be withheld where an order is under dispute, refunded, or flagged for fraud.

8. Ratings & Reviews

Customers may rate you (1–5 stars) with optional photos.

Rider reviews are visible to Admin only — they are not shown publicly.

Poor ratings may affect your access to future orders.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You must not: mark false statuses; abandon accepted orders; tamper with deliveries; collude with Vendors or Customers to defraud the Platform; share customer data; or operate while impaired or unlicensed.

10. Customer Data

You receive customer name, address, and phone number solely to complete the delivery. Using it for any other purpose, storing it separately, or sharing it is strictly prohibited.

11. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of All Corner Store.

You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, vehicle costs, and any personnel you engage (Company Riders).

12. Suspension, Termination & Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach, fraud, unsafe conduct, or expired KYC.

Serious fraud may result in hard-deletion and referral to law enforcement.

13. Liability

You are liable for loss, damage, or theft of items in your custody during delivery, and for any harm caused by your conduct.

You indemnify All Corner Store against claims arising from your actions.

14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Raise disputes first with support@allcornerstore.com.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
